Version 2.3 Released (Mon, Aug, 2nd, 2010) Version 2.3 adds the ability for greater profitability and slightly safer exits with 4 new settings. The idea behind this new feature called Trending is to capitalize on trends or spikes in our favour. Instead of closing a set of trades at their take profit when the price reverses, it will adjust the takeprofit up slightly when the price gets close and continue doing so until the price finally reverses back enough pips to close the trades in extra profit. Not only does this give us the opportunity to make potentially a lot more money, but a lot more safely with a stoploss net! Here is how the settings work. - allowTrending setting has been added and default set to TRUE. This will turn this feature on or off. - trendTrigger setting has been added to control when to start the order modification. This is the number of pips the current price has to be from the take profit before modifying the entire set of orders to have a higher take profit. - trendPips setting has been added to set how many pips to add to the takeprofit. You should probably keep this below 10. - trendStoploss setting was added as a safe guard incase the takeprofit gets raised and then the price reverses. This stop loss is the number of pips off the current price. Version 2.2 Released (Sun, Nov, 29th, 2009) Version 2.2 brings some important bug fixes and is a recommended upgrade from 2.1! -Fixed an issue with pipstarter not triggering any trades under certain circumstances. -If you are trading certain hours only, the EA will maintain and open new orders if neccessary open orders require them past your trading time. Once all the trades eventually close, no NEW starting trades will open until it is back into your time period. -Added the iStopLoss support while using the ECN setting. Version 2.1 Released (Sun, Nov, 15th, 2009) What's new? Added a new individual trade stop loss setting (iStoploss) Added TakeprofitPCT (When your floating PL reaches this percentage, all open trades are closed) Added A PauseTrades setting (When set to TRUE, all open orders will be maintained until closed, and then no new orders will be opened) Added A PauseTimer (If you set the StopLossPCT to say 30, and you hit this stoploss, then trading will be paused for this number of minutes) Added EA_Name setting (You can choose what you want the EA to be named in the comment of each trade) Mass Hedging major bugs fixed! Fixed various bugs that plagued version 2.0 Version 2.0 Released (Weds, Oct, 21st, 2009) This is NOT a mandatory update. If you are still seeing great results with version 1.0 which we know some of you are, there is no rush to upgrade. There were some big changes from 1.0 so please read ALL the documentation carefully before asking questions or running on LIVE accounts. Unlimited Demo Support Modified Max Order System Global Stoploss Feature Added MassHedging System (BETA) Introduced New Default Settings Check the release notes and documentation included in the download that will explain all the changes. MIG Demo Spike! Proof - Some of you have been asking why our FXHACKEDSCALPER account was reset. It was running on MIGFX.com demo account, when they had a server glitch and the price spiked off the chart, giving the account a margin call. Check the Proof here. New Scalping Settings settings WARNING: These settings should be used on 2 pip spread currency pairs only! These new scalping settings are what we started testing this past week (Oct 12th). As you can see, they performed very well even through a very trend favoured week where our default settings struggled. Things were a little rocky on the first scalper account because we initially tried running too many currency pairs. We knocked it down to two, and things calmed down significantly. Hybrid Test Settings Statement - Analyses - Settings These are our latest hybrid settings. These settings use a much lower takeprofit of 20, and a higher booster of 3.0. The purpose of these settings are to try to scrape profits of small retraces. These settings are still being optimized, and should be used for demo testing purposes only! Update(Oct 17th 2009) - These hybrid settings have continued to out perform our default settings for yet another week. These settings made it through one of the worst weeks we have ever experience so far with Forex Hacked. Many customers have already made the switch to these and are loving them. Backtestable Settings IMPORTANT: Our default settings have been working great for 95% of our customers. These settings have not yet been forward tested on a demo or live account, only backtested. So if the current defaults aren't working out for you, give these a try. If your current settings are working, we are NOT recommending to switch to these. They are simply another alternative and still in testing! If our default settings don't seem to be working out for you, we have found some new settings that offer a slightly different approach and that actually backtest well. Take a look at the backtest results below from January 2009 to October. Note that these are with a 0.1 starting lot size and a $10,000 starting equity. GBPUSD 2009 - EURUSD 2009 - AUDUSD 2009 - USDCHF 2009 Forward Testing Statement - Analyses - Settings Statement - Analyses - Settings The settings: 170 Pipstarter 132 Takeprofit 2.3 Booster 10 MaxTradesPerChart 4 EndingTradeDay The rest default Download the .set file here (right click, save as) These settings will result in fewer open trades at any given time, so less trading frequency overall. However, the trades will offer a much larger profit. The goal with these settings are to strive in massive trend fluctuations like 400+ pips in 24 hours type of deal. We will have a few new accounts going up this week running these settings to compare the results for you guys to see. You will find them on our results page.
